due to the popularity of my "Shyguy" pic, Im thinking of doing several others of game enemies about to be killed and saying "Oh Shit!". But im having trouble thinking of some. So Id like it if people posted some ideas in the journal
Personaly I plan to stay on DA. Its a good website thats been kind to me for a year and a half. Im not going to give it up just beacause a differnet site comes along
It's wasn't easy for me to decide that I wanted to leave. And it's been a pretty good ride for the 9 months or so that I've been on. Hell, part of me doesn't want to give up the 12thousand pageviews I amassed in that time.
However, I just don't like dA, and all the elitism that's associated with it. Where unless you've been there for a really long time or your art isn't short of perfect that you're a nobody? Screw that, I like the community here where people are friendly to each other regardless of whether they're different types of artists.
And it's not 'giving up' it's choosing not have to play their petty high school games.
Well it was your decision, and no-one else could have made it for you. It certanly has changed over the last few months, but thats mainly because of the sudden burst of popularity it had a while back. The servers just couldnt handle it, so jark implimented a few more rules to try and keep it quiet.
I don't see how creating an environment that lets the people with a bloated sense of self push around the seemingly less talented or lesser members means that things will be calm. Unless the tactic was to make it so hostile that no one will want to be there, than yea, it's doing quite admirably in that respect.
